Overview
Dr. A. Bhargavi is a Community Medicine physician and public health researcher with an MD from AIIMS Bhubaneswar, currently serving as Senior Resident at GVP Institute of Health Care and Medical Technology, Visakhapatnam. She needed a professional academic portfolio to establish her international research presence and open doors to collaborations.
The Challenge
Academic portfolios are often dense, visually dull, and hard to navigate — making it difficult for collaborators, journals, or institutions to quickly understand a researcher's work and reach. The challenge was presenting years of rigorous research, publications, fieldwork, and conference presentations in a way that was both credible and approachable.
The Solution
We built a comprehensive single-page academic portfolio with clear section architecture: biography, research areas, thesis, publications, conferences, field work, certifications, and contact. The design is clean and confident — serious enough for academic audiences, accessible enough for anyone to navigate.
Process
Content Architecture
Worked with Dr. Bhargavi to map all content — publications, conference presentations, training certifications, field work, and thesis data — into a coherent information hierarchy.
Design
Designed a clean, professional aesthetic appropriate for public health and academic audiences. Clear typography, structured sections, and restrained colour usage to keep the focus on the research.
Development
Built as a fast, responsive single-page site with smooth scroll navigation, animated counters for impact stats, a filterable publication library, and a contact form wired to email.
Launch
Deployed and live. Dr. Bhargavi now has a professional online presence that accurately represents her research contributions and invites international collaboration.
